Resolution: Why 300 DPI Matters

Print needs 300 dots per inch at final size. A 1200 × 900 pixel image prints sharply at 4 × 3 inches — but stretch it to 12 × 9 inches and you're at 100 DPI, which looks soft and blocky.
Web images are almost always 72 DPI and heavily compressed. They're fine on screen and poor on paper. Always send the original, highest-resolution file you have.
For logos, vector files (PDF, AI, EPS, SVG) are resolution-independent and always print perfectly. If you don't have one, ask about our vectorization service.
